Andre Brousseau and Brooke Wardle were elected President and Vice President of the SGA at Indiana State, but couldn't have done it without a little voting awareness.

March On!
The Sycamore Men's basketball team had a good season, but not necessarily the season expected. Here is a recap of the end of the season for the Sycamores.

Late
Everyone knows that feeling of just not waking up on time. Being a college student means you better find a way to class, and quick.

Rec Center
The Recreation Center is one of the most popular places on campus. The ability to workout, swim, or just enjoy a smoothie is a large attraction for most students. Plus you pay for it so you might as well enjoy it.

Parking an Issue
There has been a
long and controversial debate about parking between faculty and students at
Indiana State University. Many students feel that the parking is very limited
especially during the week days.
Andrew Christman, a freshman at Indiana
State, says “I feel that students should have parking close to their dorms
while faculty and staff get parking close to where they teach and work.” While Amanda Leach, a freshman at
Indiana State, says “I feel that parking is not a big issue, if you plan
according to when a lot of students are leaving for work and for other reasons
you do not have to worry about finding a parking spot.”
Whether
you agree with keeping the parking as it is or you feel that the parking
arrangements should be changed there is no easy solution. There is no easy way
to fix this problem and keep both sides completely satisfied. By:

Home Schooling
A
growing trend in education is homeschooling. The reasons families choose to
homeschool are as varied as the people themselves. Some question whether
individuals should be allowed to educate their children. While I do not believe
homeschooling is for everyone, it makes sense to me that parents have much more
invested in their children’s future than a professional school teacher, no
matter how caring that teacher is.
Homeschooling
is certainly not perfect, but neither is the public school system. Public education
has a one size fits all mentality that fails some students. Children are forced
into categories of age instead of ability, and taught that there is only one
right answer. They receive very little one-on-one attention and may fall behind
the class because they learn differently than the stereotype.
